But, for tonight, I am back!
Here is my most recently (nearly) completed project:
I still want to add some bunting through the middle, but I am pretty pleased with how it is looking so far!
I was somewhat inspired by sweet wreath I saw over at Too Stinkin' Cute
Hope she doesn't mind the shout out.
My plan was to just straight up copy this wreath idea, but they didn't have this fun fur anywhere near me, so I settled for the alternative- not that I am complaining.
I wasn't expecting a great outcome either, hence why there is no tutorial.
But, here is the break down:
This wreath cost about $25.00 with no coupons, it was a bit pricier because I didn't have any good adhesive on hand and that stuff costs about an arm.
I used a foam cored wreath form, some fake grass, paper flowers and butterflies, and straight pins to tack the flowers in.
Please feel free to leave me thoughts/suggestions below!
I know.
I'm slacking again.
I got an internship (yay!)
& my entire life pretty much consists of work now(not as yay)
But I am making my comeback, one post at a time people!
This week my focus is my nails for the holidays.
I have something planned, and here is my inspiration, thank you Pinterest
If you couldn't tell, I am super grooving on the mixed media nails. I think they are just so fun!
& for me, they are especially awesome because I love painting my nails, but it seems like as soon as they are dry I want to try something else.
You don't want my problems.
Anyway, hopefully I will have a picture or two next week so you can see how they turned out!
& Hopefully they turn out more like those photos, and less like my real abilities
:]
